Cucamonga Valley Water District Selects infraMap and Cityworks

December 21, 2007

Rancho Cucamonga, California:

The Cucamonga Valley Water District has chosen iWater and Azteca Systems to implement their new Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).  District staff can now handle service requests and work orders using Cityworks, the only GIS-Centric asset management system available. CVWD will use infraMap software to bring service requests and work orders out to the field. infraMap will give field crews the power of Cityworks with an extremely user-friendly interface.  Both software products will be used district-wide for water, wastewater, production, and treatment.

CVWD's service area includes the City of Rancho Cucamonga, portions of the cities of Upland, Ontario and Fontana, and some unincorporated areas of San Bernardino County.
  • CVWD serves a population of over 186,000 customers
  • within a 47 square mile area
  • which includes approximately 45,000 water connections
  • 35,000 sewer connections
  • with an average daily demand of approximately 50 million gallons per day
