Hardware Requirements:

·        Intel processor @ 1 GHz or higher

·        512 MB of RAM or higher

·        2 GB of hard drive free space (does not include spatial data)

·        WiFi adaptor or cellular card (required for email & data transmission)

·        GPS receiver outputting NMEA data (required for GPS navigation)

·        Microsoft Word & Excel (required for automated reporting)

·        Microsoft Windows XP or 2000

Software Specifications:

·        Standalone application using ArcGIS Engine 9.2 platform.

·        Symbology and labeling is stored in a customizable ArcMap .MXD file.

·        Spatial data is stored on the local machine and does NOT require connection to a server (except during data synchronization).

·        Client computer runs ESRI Personal Geodatabase (File or Access) data format.

·        Multi-user edits are managed by geodatabase versioning and ArcGIS disconnected editing tools (Automated by infraMap).

·        ESRI Geometric Network required for Pipeline Isolation Trace tool.

·        ArcGIS 9.2 recommended for customizing .MXD file, changing data fields, and performing multi-user editing.

·        ArcSDE 9.2 Required for multi-user editing

·        Supported SDE databases include Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, IBM DB2, and Informix.

·        Periodic network connectivity to the database server is required for multi-user editing (data synchronization).
